Overview

Lead the delivery of major electrical projects as part of a growing Scottish team.

We’re working with a long-established building services contractor to recruit an experienced Electrical Project Manager to expand on a growing team in Glasgow. This full-time, permanent role offers the opportunity to take ownership of large-scale projects, working as part of the contractors Scottish team.

Due to continued business growth, the company is increasing its presence in Scotland — and this role represents a key appointment as part of that expansion.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Taking full responsibility for the delivery of major electrical projects in Glasgow

  • Managing programmes, budgets, and subcontractor performance

  • Ensuring full compliance with health & safety, technical, and quality standards

  • Leading on-site delivery while working closely with office-based support

  • Liaising with clients, consultants, and key supply chain contacts

  • Identifying project risks and implementing suitable mitigation strategies

  • Overseeing project reporting, progress tracking, and client updates

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience managing large-scale electrical projects (infrastructure, commercial or industrial preferred)

  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and building services installation

  • Confident in leading teams and managing multiple stakeholders

  • Commercially aware with the ability to control cost and change

  • Clear communicator with a proactive, solutions-focused approach

  • Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or building services
