We’re working with a respected M&E contractor to find an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to join their expanding Scottish team. This full-time, permanent role is based in Glasgow and will see you lead on-site operations for electrical installation works across a range of commercial and industrial projects.
This role has come about due to continued business growth in the region and offers the opportunity to join an established North-West contractor as they expand their presence in Scotland.

Our client is a long-standing M&E building services contractor with a strong reputation for electrical and mechanical delivery across sectors including healthcare, commercial, education, and industrial. With roots in the North-West, they are now expanding their presence in Scotland and are looking to strengthen their site delivery team as part of that growth.
You’ll be working with experienced colleagues, delivering technically interesting projects backed by a company that values consistency, communication, and quality.
What You’ll Be Doing
Supervising electrical installation works on active project sites across Glasgow and the Central Belt
Ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and in line with technical drawings and specifications
Leading site operatives and subcontractors, and supporting coordination with project managers
Maintaining compliance with site safety standards and relevant UK electrical regulations
Carrying out quality checks and resolving on-site issues
Keeping accurate site records, reports, and documentation
Contributing to planning meetings and helping maintain project momentum
Skills & Experience Required
ECS Gold Card or equivalent certification
SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred)
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or lead electrician role
Strong understanding of electrical installation methods and BS 7671 wiring regulations
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and construction drawings
Confident communicator with leadership and organisational skills
18th Edition qualification (desirable)
First Aid certification (preferred)
Experience working on commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects
Benefits
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 depending on experience
