Our client is a long-standing building services contractor with a strong footprint across the North-West.
They deliver mechanical and electrical installations in sectors such as healthcare, education, commercial, and light industrial. The culture is straightforward and supportive. Expectations are clear, decisions are quick, and junior managers are coached by experienced leads.
What You’ll Be Doing
Assisting the Project Manager to deliver mechanical packages from mobilisation to handover
Coordinating labour, materials, and subcontractors to keep works moving
Reviewing drawings and specs, raising RFIs, and closing out buildability issues early
Supporting site compliance with RAMS, permits, and quality checks
Recording progress, supporting valuations, and tracking variations with the commercial team
Attending client and design meetings, providing concise updates and agreed next actions
Maintaining neat, serviceable installations and a clean, safe site
Skills & Experience Required
Mechanical building services experience in a site, supervision, coordination, or engineering role
Working knowledge of HVAC, plant, and pipework installations
Able to read drawings and translate them into clear site instructions
Organised, reliable, and comfortable communicating with site teams and suppliers
SSSTS, CSCS, and First Aid helpful, with training available if needed
Full UK driving licence
Benefits
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 depending on experience
