We’re partnering with a long-established M&E contractor to find an experienced M&E Pre-Construction Manager for their Castleford office. This full-time, permanent role is perfect for someone who thrives in the pre-construction phase - translating technical briefs into robust, deliverable plans while collaborating closely with estimating, design, and operational teams.

What You’ll Be Doing
Leading pre-construction activities across a portfolio of M&E projects
Developing tender programmes, risk registers, and preliminary project schedules
Supporting estimating teams with technical input, buildability reviews, and value engineering
Managing design coordination between internal teams, consultants, and clients
Reviewing tender documentation and identifying potential challenges or opportunities
Supporting bid strategy and leading technical elements of client presentations
Collaborating with commercial and operational leads to ensure seamless project handover
Mentoring junior team members and supporting internal development initiatives
Skills & Experience Required
Strong background in M&E contracting, with previous experience in a pre-construction or design management role
Excellent knowledge of building services systems and construction processes
Ability to lead early-stage project development from technical and delivery perspectives
Commercial awareness and the ability to assess buildability, risk, and programme
Skilled communicator who can present ideas clearly to internal and external stakeholders
Proficiency in project planning tools and collaboration platforms
Relevant qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Building Services Engineering (preferred)
