We’re working with a respected building services contractor to find an experienced M&E Senior Quantity Surveyor for their expanding operations in Glasgow. This full-time, permanent role offers the opportunity to take commercial ownership of mechanical and electrical projects across a broad range of sectors — with full support from an established delivery team.

What You’ll Be Doing
Managing commercial delivery of M&E projects from pre-construction to final account
Leading on valuations, cost plans, subcontractor procurement, and variation control
Supporting project teams with risk analysis, contract administration, and client liaison
Producing accurate monthly cost reports and forecasts
Working closely with operational leads across multiple live sites
Mentoring junior surveyors and supporting team development in the region
Contributing to value engineering and change management processes
Representing the business in client meetings and commercial reviews
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience managing commercial activities in the M&E or construction sector
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services installations
Ability to manage multiple projects independently
Skilled in valuations, cost control, contract negotiation, and change management
Familiarity with JCT or NEC forms of contract
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
Experience in mentoring or leading junior QSs (preferred)
Benefits
Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 depending on experience
