We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Estimator to join our client's dynamic team in Warrington.
Job Summary
As a Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for mechanical services projects.
Your role will involve analysing project specifications, collaborating with engineering and project management teams, and ensuring that all estimates align with industry standards and client requirements.
Your expertise will contribute to the successful acquisition and execution of projects across various sectors, including commercial, healthcare, education, and industrial.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for mechanical services projects.
Analyse project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine scope and cost.
Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to develop comprehensive bids.
Identify and evaluate potential risks and opportunities associated with estimates.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, materials, and pricing.
Present estimates to senior management and participate in bid reviews.
Assist in the negotiation of contracts and procurement of materials.
Support project teams during the transition from estimation to execution.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator in the construction or M&E industry.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and installation processes.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related field are preferred.
