We’re working with a respected M&E contractor to recruit an experienced Mechanical Project Manager for high-profile projects based in Glasgow. This full-time, permanent role is part of the company’s ongoing expansion into Scotland and offers the opportunity to lead the mechanical delivery of major schemes from start to finish.

You’ll be joining a business with a solid reputation in the North-West and playing a key role in expanding their operational strength in the Scottish region.

Our client is a well-established M&E building services contractor delivering mechanical and electrical installations across healthcare, education, commercial, and industrial sectors. Known for reliable project delivery, long-standing client partnerships, and a practical, no-nonsense approach, they’re now growing their footprint in Scotland and building a local team to match.

This is a high-visibility role with strong operational support behind it — ideal for someone ready to take ownership of a major mechanical project and drive it forward.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing the delivery of large-scale mechanical services projects in Glasgow

  • Overseeing programme, cost, quality, and compliance from start to handover

  • Leading site teams, subcontractors, and supply chain coordination

  • Liaising with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure expectations are met

  • Ensuring health & safety standards are met and technical specifications are followed

  • Identifying and mitigating project risks, reporting to senior leadership

  • Maintaining full project documentation, reporting, and commercial updates

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience delivering large mechanical projects within the building services sector

  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, plant etc.)

  • Excellent planning, coordination, and communication skills

  • Commercially aware, with confidence managing costs and change

  • Ability to lead and motivate site teams and represent the company with professionalism

  • Relevant qualifications in mechanical or building services engineering
