We’re working with a well-established M&E contractor in Blackburn to find a capable Mechanical Project Manager to join their team. This full-time, permanent role is perfect for someone confident managing mechanical projects from award through to completion, with a focus on quality, delivery, and building long-term client relationships.

What You’ll Be Doing
Managing the full lifecycle of mechanical packages from project handover through to commissioning
Leading site teams and subcontractors to ensure timely, compliant, and high-quality delivery
Attending site meetings and providing clear, accurate progress updates
Reviewing technical drawings and specifications to resolve queries before they become issues
Supporting procurement, logistics, and delivery planning with the wider project team
Liaising closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure alignment and smooth delivery
Maintaining health and safety standards and compliance across site activities
Skills & Experience Required
Solid experience delivering mechanical building services projects in an M&E contracting environment
Ability to manage multiple sites or packages simultaneously
Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems and installations
Familiarity with project management software and documentation
Effective communicator with strong team coordination skills
Full UK driving licence
Mechanical trade background or relevant engineering qualifications preferred
Benefits
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 depending on experience
