We’re working with a respected M&E contractor to find an experienced Mechanical Site Supervisor to join their expanding Scottish team. This full-time, permanent role is based in Glasgow and will see you take responsibility for on-site supervision of mechanical installations across a range of commercial and industrial projects.
The role has been created as part of the company’s continued growth in Scotland and offers the opportunity to be part of a well-established North-West business as it expands its presence in the region.

Our client is a long-standing M&E building services contractor with a strong track record of delivering mechanical installations across sectors including healthcare, commercial, education, and industrial. With their roots in the North-West, they are now expanding operations in Scotland and strengthening their local delivery team as part of that growth.
You’ll work alongside experienced colleagues on technically interesting projects, supported by a business that values communication, consistency, and quality workmanship.
What You’ll Be Doing
Supervising mechanical installations on active project sites across Glasgow and the Central Belt
Ensuring works are completed safely, to spec, and within the project programme
Leading on-site operatives and managing subcontractor activity
Supporting coordination with project and site managers
Ensuring compliance with site health & safety procedures and mechanical standards
Carrying out quality inspections and assisting with issue resolution
Maintaining accurate daily site records, reports, and documentation
Attending site meetings and contributing to planning discussions
Skills & Experience Required
CSCS Supervisor Card or equivalent certification
SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred)
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a mechanical supervisory or lead installer role
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and building services installations
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics
Clear communicator with leadership and coordination skills
Experience working on commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects
First Aid certification (preferred)
Benefits
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 depending on experience
