Overview
We are currently seeking an Electrical Contracts Manager in Ashton-under-Lyne to oversee the delivery of electrical contracts across the region, ensuring projects are run safely, profitably, and to a consistently high standard.
This role suits someone who enjoys managing multiple workstreams at once, supporting site teams, keeping clients informed, and bringing structure to programme, labour, commercial control, and compliance.

They deliver a mix of electrical installation projects across commercial environments, with an emphasis on quality, planning, and reliable delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing
Taking overall responsibility for multiple electrical projects from handover through to completion
Managing site teams and subcontractors, including labour planning, productivity and performance
Building and maintaining programmes, ensuring works are delivered safely and to deadline
Leading client communication, progress reporting, and managing expectations throughout delivery
Coordinating procurement, materials, and supplier performance to support site activity
Ensuring RAMS, permits, and site compliance are in place and maintained
Managing variations, change control, and supporting commercial performance with the wider team
Overseeing quality, snagging, commissioning readiness, and final handover documentation
Supporting recruitment and development of supervisors and engineers where required
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience as an Electrical Contracts Manager (or similar senior delivery role) within electrical contracting or building services
Strong understanding of electrical installation delivery, site management and compliance
Confident managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management
Commercial awareness, comfortable managing change, variations, and cost control
Organised approach to document control, reporting, and project governance
Full UK driving licence
SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred)
ECS / CSCS (preferred, depending on project requirements)
Benefits
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 depending on experience
