About Mike
Mike has spent over a decade recruiting in M&E building services, and founded ravensearch in 2012.
He had seen enough of the volume approach to know it does not work in this sector. M&E is a small world in the North‑West. The same names come up again and again, reputations travel, and the people worth hiring are almost never the ones applying. That calls for someone who knows the market rather than someone working a database.
Since 2012 that approach has put more than 250 people into permanent roles with M&E contractors across the region, from site supervisors through to operations directors. Most of the contractors he works with have briefed him on more than one hire, and most of the people he has placed are still in those jobs.
